Parish Stewardship.
Our response to God's call to Tithe

nullWelcome to the Parish of The Assumption.  Together we will work to bring the mission of the parish, the Church and the Gospel to life. You are invited to consider your own personal commitment of support to The Parish of Assumption, its ministries and community.  You are further invited to consider that commitment, not in terms of simply financial giving, but in response to the Biblical call of Stewardship. We have been gifted with so much from our God: our time, talents, our treasure or personal wealth.  In every committed relationship, such as the one we entered together when you registered with our parish family. that relationship calls for an active response. The Stewardship of each of us is the opportunity to respond to the presence of God in our lives, as we experience it in and through the interactions of our lives as a family and parish. No doubt a part of what drew you to join our parish family was the quality of our parish worship and prayer at our weekend Masses, the many and varied programs that are available to you and your family. and the welcome and hospitality that we endeavor to create for every person who joins us.

To insure that these same things continue to be available to you and to others who are seeking a place to belong, we invite you to bring to a prayerful consideration the gift of treasure you are able to share as your response to this relationship. Please consider making a strong commitment, and use your weekly or monthly envelope for your contribution, or  use Parish Pay (more information about Parish Pay is available here on our website).  Often people ask what is considered an appropriate stewardship gift or tithe.  That answer lies with each family according to their own personal means, and the priority with which you consider the work of the Church and the value of our community life.  Remember that your stewardship and tithe continue the work of our parish and the community you personally have come to enjoy.  Thank you again for your membership, your commitment to our community in the sharing of your time, talent and treasure.  Whatever the level of commitment, we are pleased we are the community of faith you have decided to be a part of, and to make your faith home.
